Bhoomi Poojan of 108-Feet Hanuman Statue Successfully Performed at Sri Mangaldham, Deoghar

On 12 April 2025, a grand Bhoomi Poojan ceremony was successfully conducted at Sri Mangaldham, Deoghar, marking the beginning of the construction of a majestic 108-feet tall statue of Lord Hanuman. This spiritual and historic event drew the attention of thousands of devotees and dignitaries from across the country.

The sacred ritual was conducted in the divine presence of RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale, who graced the occasion as the Chief Speaker, while Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand Shri Santosh Gangwar attended as the Chief Guest. Their presence added great significance to the event, reflecting the spiritual and cultural importance of the initiative.

The event also saw the gracious presence of Dr. Ashish Gautam, President of Divya Prem Seva Mission; Shri Nikhil Nanda from Delhi, the primary contributor to the statue’s construction; and Shri Jayprakash Dewaliya, President of Seva Foundation.

The Bhoomi Poojan began with Sundarkand Path, followed by a collective recitation of 108 Hanuman Chalisa, a sacred Havan, and soulful musical Hanuman worship, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The statue will be constructed with the support of Shri Nikhil Nanda and aims to become a major spiritual and cultural landmark in the region. The initiative has been undertaken by Seva Foundation to promote devotion, service, and spiritual awareness among the masses.

Several community leaders and volunteers including Reeta Chaurasia, Prem Prakash Chaubey, Pradeep Bajla, Ramesh Bajla, Madhukar Chaudhary, Subodh Jha, Alok Mallik, and Seva Foundation Secretary Praveer Kumar were actively involved in organizing the event.

This Bhoomi Poojan marks not only the start of a monumental construction project but also the beginning of a new chapter of devotion, unity, and service in Deoghar – the sacred city of Baba Baidyanath.
